Both cases are made from dark blue velvet.
A rich silver and blue embroidery with the relevant bible verses-
the tallit bag carries the verse "Tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments" and the tefillin bag the verse- "And it shall be for a sign for you upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes".
Both verses are embroidered in Hebrew.
Both have a zip closure, no handles or straps.
