Judaica PESACH Passover Illustrated Gershom Cohen Prague Haggadah 1965 Israel
A photographic version of the oldest Haggadah ever printed: "The Prague Haggadah".
Printed in 1527 by Gershom ben Shlomo HaCohen.
In this version, the haggadah was reduced in size, but the illustrations made in woodcuts were preserved and an introduction is attached to it that tells about the original version, the story of its creation and how it looked originally.
In the introduction it is written that this is the first photographic edition of the Haggadah.
This copy was issued as a gift by the Israeli ministry of housing, Passover, 1965.
Yellow tone to pages due to time wear, but still in excellent condition, looks like it was never used!
